Festero Mohamad Papeko: Director of Operations and Sharia

Born in Jakarta on July 27, 1965, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the Bogor Agricultural Institute and continued his Master's education at the University of Japan, with a strong academic background and extensive experience in the national banking sector. Before serving as President Director of Bank Sumsel Babel, he had held a number of strategic positions in various leading financial institutions, demonstrating leadership competency, managerial expertise, and a deep understanding of risk management and development of the banking sector, both conventional and sharia. His career began as a Manager at PT Bank Dagang Negara, then was trusted as Vice President and Regional Risk Manager at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, and held an important position as Managing Director at PT Bank Syariah Mandiri. In addition, he also served as Senior Vice President/Project Manager at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk and was actively involved in the development of financial technology through his role as a Financial Technology Specialist for the Sharia segment, including in the fields of consulting and education. These various experiences are a solid foundation in his current leadership in directing Bank Sumsel Babel towards adaptive, innovative, and sustainable growth amidst the dynamics of the financial services industry.

Riera Ecorhynalda: Director of Compliance and Risk Management

Born in Palembang on July 12, 1965, he is an alumnus of Sriwijaya University who has a long and solid professional track record in Bank Sumsel Babel. Before being appointed as Director of Compliance and Risk Management, he has held various strategic positions that demonstrate consistency in leadership, a deep understanding of the dynamics of the banking industry, and a commitment to good governance. His last position was as a Member of the Risk Monitoring Committee of Bank Sumsel Babel, where he actively provided views and recommendations related to strategic risk management. In 2021, he was also trusted as the Ad-hoc Team Leader for the Implementation of the Re-organization Structure, playing an important role in the organizational transformation process that has an impact on increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the bank's operations. Previously, he served as Head of the Compliance Division (2019–2021), Head of the Treasury & International Division (2016–2019), and Head of the Information Technology Division (2014–2016), and has led operations in the region as Head of the Indralaya Branch (2013–2014). This variety of cross-functional experiences reflects his capability and resilience in leading critical units that contribute to achieving Bank Sumsel Babel's vision and mission in driving sustainable regional economic growth.

Marzuki: Director of Business

Born in Metro, Lampung on September 2, 1968, he is a Bachelor's graduate from Tulang Bawang University, Bandar Lampung, with long and in-depth experience in the national banking industry, especially in business management and micro services. Prior to serving as Business Director of Bank Sumsel Babel, he held various strategic positions at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, which became the foundation of his leadership and strengthened his expertise in network development and transformation of banking operational models. Some of the important positions he has held include Area Head Bank Mandiri - Palembang Area (2021-2024), Area Head Bank Mandiri - Jambi Area (2019-2021), Microbanking Head Region II (2016-2019), Business Support Head Region VIII (2015-2016), and Microbanking Head Region VIII (2013-2015). All of these assignments reflect his consistency in leading strategic business units and his success in driving financing portfolio growth and operational effectiveness in various regions. With a strong background and commitment to strengthening business performance based on market needs, he now plays an important role in accelerating the contribution of Bank Sumsel Babel as a major financial partner in the South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung regions.

Amrul Muslimin: Director Of Finance

Born in Prabumulih on October 10, 1967, he is an alumnus of Sriwijaya University with a long and solid professional track record within Bank Sumsel Babel. Prior to being appointed as a member of the Board of Directors, he held various strategic positions that demonstrated consistency in leadership, a deep understanding of the dynamics of the banking industry, and a strong commitment to good governance. His most recent position was as Supervisor of the Bank Sumsel Babel Employee Welfare Foundation. From 2022 to 2023, he also served as Head of the Strategic Planning and Business Ecosystem Division. Previously, he served as Branch Head of Lubuk Linggau (2019–2022), Head of Marketing Unit (2015–2019), Head of Business and Branch Development Section under the Business Division (2014–2015), Branch Head of Sungailiat (2012–2014), Head of Medium and Corporate Credit Section under the Credit Division (2011–2012), and Branch Head of Prabumulih (2010–2011). This wide range of cross-functional experience reflects his capability and resilience in leading other critical units that contribute to the achievement of Bank Sumsel Babel’s vision and mission in driving sustainable regional economic growth.

Drs. H. Edward Chandra, M.H.: President Commissioner

Drs. H. Edward Chandra, M.H. was born in Talang Balai Baru on September 6, 1972. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Constitutional Law from Sriwijaya University and continued his education in Public Administration at the same university. With an academic background in law and public administration, he has a long track record in the South Sumatra Provincial Government with various strategic positions that demonstrate his leadership capacity and understanding of good governance. His career includes positions as Head of the Government Bureau of the South Sumatra Provincial Secretariat (2016), Assistant I for Government and Public Welfare of the South Sumatra Provincial Secretariat, and has served as Acting Regent of Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) for the 2021–2022 period. In addition, he was also trusted as Acting Head of the South Sumatra Provincial Environment and Land Service before finally being appointed as Regional Secretary of South Sumatra Province. With extensive experience in government bureaucracy and cross-sector leadership, he now plays a vital role as President Commissioner at Bank Sumsel Babel, contributing to strengthening synergies between local governments and banking entities to support inclusive and sustainable development.

Zakaria Wahab: Independent Commissioner

Zakaria Wahab was born in Baturaja on July 14, 1957. He studied for a Bachelor of Business Economics at Sriwijaya University (Unsri), then continued his Master of Business Administration program at Wright State University, United States. He completed his doctoral education at Padjadjaran University with a concentration in Economics.

In the academic field, Zakaria Wahab has extensive experience. He is known as a Lecturer in the Postgraduate Program (S2 and S3) at Sriwijaya University, and has served as Head of the Management Department of the Faculty of Economics, Sriwijaya University and a Member of the Senate of Sriwijaya University. In addition, he has also served as Dean of the Faculty of Economics, IBA University, Palembang, Vice Chancellor at IBA University, and Chancellor of Prabumulih University. Finally, he is also listed as Director of the Postgraduate Program at Lembah Dempo University.

With a strong academic background and extensive leadership experience in the world of higher education, Zakaria Wahab is expected to provide strategic contributions in the supervision and development of Bank Sumsel Babel, especially in terms of governance and sustainable economic policies.

Noversa: Independent Commissioner

Born in Belitung on November 8, 1971, he completed his Bachelor's degree (S1) at Sriwijaya University and has pursued a professional career in various industrial sectors, especially in the managerial field and strategic relationship management with stakeholders. Prior to serving as Independent Commissioner of Bank Sumsel Babel, he had extensive experience in the private sector with a track record that reflects capabilities in operational management, business development, and key client relationship management. His career began as Operational Manager at PT Glady Palmando Mandiri, Jakarta in 1995, then served as Sub Unit Manager at PT Asuransi Staco Raharja, Cikini Branch Jakarta in 1997, and then occupied a strategic position as Manager/Key Account Manager at PT Sanofi Aventis in 2013. These various positions demonstrate his commitment and consistency in managing responsibilities in various industrial sectors, which are now important provisions in carrying out the role of supervision and providing strategic advice as an Independent Commissioner at Bank Sumsel Babel, especially in maintaining the integrity of corporate governance and ensuring the sustainability of healthy and professional performance.

Ferry Erfani: Independent Commissioner

Born in Palembang on October 21, 1965, he is an alumnus of Sriwijaya University with a long and solid professional track record within Bank Sumsel Babel. Prior to being appointed as Commissioner, he held various strategic positions that demonstrated consistency in leadership, a deep understanding of the dynamics of the banking industry, and a strong commitment to good governance. His most recent position was as a Member of the Risk Monitoring Committee of Bank Sumsel Babel, where he actively provided insights and recommendations regarding strategic risk management. In 2019, he was also entrusted with the role of Head of the Branch Business Division Section. Previously, he served as Branch Head of Muara Enim (2017–2014) and Branch Head of Muntok (2014–2010). This wide range of cross-functional experience reflects his capability and resilience in leading critical units that contribute to the achievement of Bank Sumsel Babel’s vision and mission in driving sustainable regional economic growth.

Fery Afriyanto: Non-Independent Commissioner

Born in Pangkalpinang on April 9, 1970, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada in 1995. With an academic background in law and public administration, he has built a long and distinguished career within the Government of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, holding various strategic positions that reflect his leadership capacity and strong understanding of good governance principles.

Prior to his appointment as a Non-Independent Commissioner, he began his career in the Bangka Regency Government from 2000 to 2008. He has also served as Head of the Regional Environmental Agency (2014–2016), Head of the Regional Financial Agency (2016–2022), Head of the Environmental and Forestry Office (2022–2025), and Acting Regional Secretary (2025–present).

With extensive experience in government bureaucracy and cross-sector leadership, he currently plays a key role as President Commissioner of Bank Sumsel Babel, contributing to the strengthening of synergy between regional governments and the banking sector to support inclusive and sustainable development.
